Piper eriopodon, belonging to the Piperaceae family, is a species widely distributed in tropical and subtropical regions [1]. In Colombia, it has a high occurrence in areas such as Santander, Boyacá, and Cundinamarca, where it has demonstrated remarkable ecological adaptation.
