Four events, one encounter with science in the Colombian Amazon

From May 11 to 14, 2027, Universidad de la Amazonia, in Florencia, Caquetá, Colombia, will host the II Colombian Congress of Natural Products, under the theme “Biodiversity that inspires, science that transforms the Amazon.”

The following events will be held simultaneously within the framework of the Congress:

  • X International Seminar on Applied Chemistry for the Amazon (X SEQUIAMAZ)
  • III International Symposium on Functional Foods for the Amazon
  • V Andean-Amazonian School of Chemistry

Revista Productos Naturales will participate in this scientific gathering by publishing the accepted abstracts from the II Colombian Congress of Natural Products, X SEQUIAMAZ, and the III International Symposium on Functional Foods for the Amazon, each in a dedicated issue of the journal.

The V Andean-Amazonian School of Chemistry will be part of the academic program but will not have proceedings published in the journal.

Abstract submissions

Abstract submissions will open on October 19, 2026 for the II Colombian Congress of Natural Products, X SEQUIAMAZ, and the III International Symposium on Functional Foods for the Amazon.
