The Revista Productos Naturales (RPN) (ISSN 1916-2413) is an open-access electronic journal dedicated to the specialized dissemination of scientific research. It publishes fundamental and applied research articles with significant contributions to the science, technology, and industry of natural products of plant, animal, or microbial origin, including terrestrial and marine organisms.
The Revista Productos Naturales is completely free for both authors and readers. There are no submission, processing, publication, or access fees, ensuring that scientific knowledge remains available to everyone without economic barriers.
To ensure long-term preservation and archiving, the journal is deposited in multiple digital preservation systems, including CLOCKSS, LOCKSS, Internet Archive, and PKP PN. These mechanisms guarantee continuous accessibility, integrity, and durability of the published content.
The overarching idea behind this initiative is to establish a curated curriculum for newcomers covering the most important aspects for persons new to the field of Natural Products Research.
